When People you Know Die

This morning I heard something on efm radio. It is a christian channel and what the presenter said something that really got me thinking. I never thought many people out there asked themselves the same question, i do when someone they knew passes on. When i hear that a person has died, i feel sad really but the biggest question i ask is, " where has he gone to?" "where will he spend eternity?" " Has he ever heard of life after death?" Those are the questions that i ask myself.

It is  very important to share Christ's good news, because you never know when you will be or if you were the only opportunity a person had to hear the good news. when people open up to you, even if they are total strangers, there is a reason. Share with them about Christ Jesus the hope of nations.

Cheers

Loss

When people you know pass on, unexpectantly, it hurts. The only consolation you give yourself because they were full of life and never thought they could die, is that there has been a mistake or it is a prank. At the back of your mind you however know that no one will live forever but you never consider the possibility of a sudden death. They say life is a journey and we are all sojourners.

cheers.

Epiphany

Every situation and every person is supposed to teach you something if and only if you are up for learning something new.

I have recently learned about making rash decisions and the often detrimental results that very often cannot be reverted.

Refrain from making promises you cannot keep, no matter how simple. It is a virtue to be held accountable for your word.

Fight for what you believe in whatever the cost. Everything happens for a reason and beacuse of faith. When you have faith, it shall happen.

Never cry over spilled milk. After all, you cannot put it back into the pitcher, can you?
Above all else, put God first.

Cheers...

Happiness

Happiness is in the dawn of a bright new day. It is in the laughter of children playing. It is in the flowers so beautiful and the waters down below. Happiness is within you and around you if you choose to look and see it. Happiness is achieved when you embrace your pain, grin and bear it. Happiness is in finding out what God has for you and the lessons he wants you to learn amidst your circumstances. Happiness is there close by when you make God you focus and fulfillment of his will for you your ultimate goal. Happiness comes when you stop trying and just be who God wants you to be by allowing him to guide you. There is true happiness.

Cheers.

You Owe yourself that much

Many times when you reach a certain tip point in your life, you get that feeling that it does not matter anymore. You get to a point where all you want is to throw in the towel and lie to yourself that it was worth it. You tell yourself that it was not all for nothing because you got out with your dignity intact.
Well, news flash!!!
Your playing small does not do you or others around you any justice. Just because you have reached a cul de sac does not mean you are a failure. Just beacuse you failed that particular test does not mean you are destined to never succeed again.
You get hit and it does not matter how many times but what matters is how many times you pick yourseld up and keep moving. There will always be individuals with the PHDn syndrome... pull him down syndrome. They will see you through glasses of diminishing  returns and not for who or what you really are. Someone once said that it does not matter what you call me but what i respond to. You are not a failure. |In life if you have never failed, you have never learnt anything. Mistakes are made in the wake of education. Formal or informal. Anything new you encounter is education if and only if you pick up the lesson behind.

So what am i going on about?
I am going on about the fact that you owe it to yourself to allow nothing and no one to pull you down. When you fail, It is not the end of the world. It is basically a shove into a different direction. No may mean next opportunity and you need to smile about everything. Find the one good thing that ever happened instead of dwelling on the hurts and the disappointments of the past.
It takes you to start on a journey to were you want to go. It takes you to destroy yourself before the devil himself destroys you. It takes you to allow things and people ton weigh you down. Whatever happens, remember that even Jesus was in a quagmire. He was tempted in every way we are. He was beaten, spat at and even fell. Guess what, he never gave up hope in the father. He never gave up on God because God never gave up on him. He never gave up on himself.

You owe self courage and perseverence. You owe yourself faith in something or someone greater than yourself. You owe yourself that much.
You need to let your light shine so that they can praise your father in heaven. You cannot continue rolling on the floor. Life is not waiting. It goes on with or without you. healing begins when you allow the pain to dissipate. Healing begins when you focus on it. It does harder before it gets better. Rest assured that your father in heaven will not suffer you to things you can't handle. You are in your predicament because God knows you can handle it and he will give you the grace to. It is happenning for a reason.

You owe yourself that much....

Cheers.

When in a dark place remember

My posts are random. they are a reflection of how i fell at a particular moment. With or without answers, i just write how i feel. This here, are my thoughts on Job.

Job was a man of many sorrows. He lost everything except his hope and faith in God. He may have questioned God’s motive but in his shoes, what could you have done differently? He lost his children, wealth and all his possessions. He was physically afflicted but never flinched in his faith. He however grew closer to God. The bible tells me that Satan requested that he be tried and God gave permission save for his soul be touched. Job hang on in there like hanging on a thin thread and when it was about to break, God came through.
Even today, I believe that our circumstances do not happen by accident because our lives have been determined by God himself from the very beginning. I believe that when we go through trials and temptations, we should remember who we are in Christ Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith. He was tempted in every way that we are but he never sinned. That is why he is able to feel our pain and come through for us if we let him.
